Dear visitor,
on behalf of the Federal State Government of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania I cordially welcome you on our website.
The Federal State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, in co-operation with the Economic Development Agency, Invest in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern GmbH, has launched an initiative that pointedly presents and promotes the investment location Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
The initiative is effective for one year, bearing the slogan MV7 - seven opportunities in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It focuses on marketing seven large-scale commercial areas, which guarantee ideal business conditions and attractive location premises for national and foreign companies.
The areas in question are Airpark Rostock-Laage, Lubminer Heide, Neubrandenburg-Trollenhagen, Pasewalk, Pommerndreieck, Rostock-Mönchhagen, and Sassnitz-Mukran.
These locations in north eastern Germany persuade both because of their strategically important link with regard to the reachability of the emerging eastern European markets and the Scandinavian and Baltic countries as well as because of their ideal location inside of Germany.
Moreover, investors find skilled workforce on-site and receive exceedingly attractive grants by the Federal State of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
The seven locations offer ideal conditions for companies from the sectors renewable energies, information and communication technologies, logistics, life sciences, mechanical engineering, and maritime economy.
The location-specific advantages of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania have already been recognized by a remarkable number of national and international renowned companies and proved by the rising number of new establishments during the last years.
My colleagues in the Ministry of Economics, Labour and Tourism and at the Invest in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern GmbH, and of course myself will thoroughly support your investment project.
Test us and challenge us!
We are convinced to be able to excite you for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
Yours faithfully,
Dr. Stefan Rudolph
State Secretary Federal Ministry of Economics, Labour and Tourism
